001: entrance (video)
[The video starts rolling with Cassandra peering intently into the camera, knowing she'll have some sort of audience. She may not exude any sort of insecurity in the way she looks at the feed, but she does seem curious enough. She's been around, watching people be pirates and being one herself. But now that that's all finished with, she can finally address the group at large.
The trouble is that Cass has never been much of a talker. She's not going to get any better in front of several strangers.
Instead of shying away from the prospect, however, she does her best. She lifts a hand in greeting.]
I'm Cassandra. I'm a new warden here.
[A warden without an inmate, since she doesn't add anyone onto her description just yet.]
I'm still...learning this place. [Seeing, knowing where to go.] I'll get it eventually.
[She found the gym, what more do you people want.]
But I'm here to help. And...I'll be around.

[We hear you read body language. Good luck with someone who pretty much never, ever says what he means, except for how he does.
Yeah, we're confused, too.]
[ Video ]
No, not yet. I'll be okay.
[Except Edward Nigma, and she'll deal with him herself :|a]
Your name?
[ Video ]
Give it time. I'm Dean. I've only been here since December, but I've learned a couple things, anyway. Just enough to be dangerous.
[This last is a joke through and through, and he says it with an intentionally exaggerated Serious Face.]
[ Video ]
[And he's only been here a few months, but that's okay. He still knows more tan her.]
Like what?
[ Video ]
Like life-doubles happen, comas are normal, no one knows anything, and the tacos are good but probably not worth the aftermath, if you know what I mean.
[All serious business, except for the way the corner of his mouth keeps twitching towards a smirk.]
Also some fake people are real. Watch out for that shit. They really punch.
Any of this sounding familiar? Stop me if you've heard it.
